Bristlenose catfish

There are many different species of Catfish that range from wood and algae eating species to bottom feeding scavengers. These behavioural traits can be used to the advantage of aquarists in the form of a clean-up crew, helping to keep algae to a minimum and eating excess food.

pH: 6.0-8.0
Temperament: Peaceful
Compatibility: Suited to most aquariums due to their peaceful nature and
ability to hide or defend from predators.
